Adjuvant (protector) of methionine

Meth Plus is a feed additive developed on the basis of the latest scientific achievements, to increase the productivity of animals and poultry, by increasing the efficiency of using feed methionine, on the reproductive functions of the body, on an increase in live weight, on the correct development of young animals and an increase in egg productivity.

The MethPlus feed additive (MetsPlus) is developed on the basis of the latest scientific achievements. This is a complex of biologically active ingredients of natural origin, involved in the metabolic processes of methionine metabolism and its restoration in the liver. The product acts as an adjuvant (assistant) in the metabolic cycle of methionine in the body of monogastric animals and poultry. In terms of its biological action, it is completely identical to synthetic feed additives of the essential amino acid methionine.

Mets Plus is a synergistic combination of active ingredients and extracts of plants, seaweed with a high sulfur content, legumes, yeast and special functional additives.

  • Acts as a factor in the optimization of amino acid nutrition of animals and poultry.
  • Includes active ingredients that are involved in biochemical reactions of activation and re-synthesis of methionine.
  • Reduces the non-productive costs of the amino acid methionine in intermediate metabolism, reduces its losses in the process of catabolism
  • Provides active synthesis of cysteine ​​and taurine with minimal consumption of methionine.
  • Supports normal liver function (reduces AST and ALT), increasing the terms of economic exploitation of animals and poultry.

Active substances and their sources in the product:

Specially prepared (with functional additives) inactivated brewer's yeast (10%) is a source of folate (H4-folate), folic acid, serine, glycine, choline, catalysts (vitamins B, especially B12).

Legume flour (20%) is a rich source of folates (H4-folate), folic acid, betaine, serine, dimethylglycine.

In the composition of at least 10% carob flour, as a source of vitamin and protein ingredients to increase the absorption of methionine in the gastrointestinal tract. Due to their positive effect on the work of the digestive tract (when mixed with liquid, they contribute to the formation of a useful colloidal gel, help to relax the intestinal walls and improve the absorption of nutrients).

Specialized additives:

Algae (10%) is an alternative, rich source of methyl groups.

Extract of red grape and anise leaves (7.5%) - natural flavors, flavor enhancers with high antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties (as an equivalent of the anti-inflammatory effect of methionine and its metabolite: S-Adenosyl-methionine).

Methionine is activated in the liver:

1) With the help of catalysts and methyl donors:

Folate + Serine; Betaine; Alternative sources of methyl groups (dimethylglycine, choline, 5 methyl THFA, etc.).

2) Using catalysts:

vitamin B12 - the main catalyst, carrier of methyl groups;

Н4folate - folic acid in the liver is converted into Н4folate in several stages with the participation of enzymes; vitamin B6 - activates the process of transsulfation (formation of cysteine);

3) With the help of the enzymes MAT I and MAT III (methionine adenosyl triphosphatase) with the participation of methyl groups, SAM (S-adenosyl methionine), the active formamethionine, is synthesized. Under the action of methyl agents, the rate and volume of cystine synthesis from methionine increases 1.5-1.7 times, the consumption of methionine decreases by 50%;

4) Provided there is a sufficient concentration of activators-nutrients, the volume of SAM synthesis increases by 2 times. Consequently, the need for methionine intake with feed falls by 30-40%.
